Data handling scope
Camera frames and selected photos are processed to provide the feature you choose. OCR and QR recognition prioritize on-device processing, and raw images are not uploaded to our servers by default.

Location data
Location permission is used to estimate local currency and the likely local text language. Users can choose currency and language manually in settings.
On-device processing principle
Price OCR, text OCR, QR recognition, and currency conversion are processed inside the app where practical. If you choose Visual Search or web search/translation, the selected image or search query may be sent to external services such as Google.
Ads and third-party services
The app may use third-party SDKs such as Google Mobile Ads for ad delivery. When you choose image search, web search, translation, or opening a link, external services may open. Their data handling follows their own policies.
Data retention
App preferences and FX cache are stored on-device to provide functionality. Captured photos are saved to your photo library only when you choose Save photo. You can remove local data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
User controls
You can disable camera, photo, or location permissions at any time. Saving photos, loading library images, Visual Search, and external web searches run only when you explicitly choose them.
Security
The app is designed with reasonable safeguards for local data and network communication. However, no system can guarantee absolute security; device lock and OS updates are strongly recommended.
Children's privacy
This app is not primarily intended for children under 13. If a guardian has privacy concerns, please contact support for review and guidance.
